ROOT - Hell Symphony (12" Gatefold DOUBLE LP)
The Crypt is proud to announce the long overdue vinyl reissue of Root's 1991 sophomore opus, "Hell Symphony". Hailed as the bands transitional album, Hell Symphony helped establish the unique sound that Root is known for. Featuring all bonus tracks from both CD reissues, this masterpiece will be spread over two 180 gram LPs for the best audio fidelity possible, mastered from the original 1991 dat recording to maintain the original dynamics! Expect the usual Crypt standards for this release. All the bonus tracks from both the 2001 Redblack 2CD and the 2008 I Hate Records CD reissue will be included here.
Presented on 2 x 180 gram heavy vinyl LPs, strictly limited to a one time only pressing of 500 hand-numbered copies - 200 of which will be black vinyl and 300 of which will be red/orange vinyl. These killer slabs of wax come housed in a 350 gram gatefold jacket with a reverseboard finish. The LP jacket will feature the original cover and layout from the 1991 Zeras LP version as well as new liner notes by Peter (BLACKOSH) Hošek. Included in all 500 copies is a luxurious 24" x 36" (60.96 cm x 91.44 cm) poster of the cover artwork.

It's been 17 years since this amazing debut from Norway's Gehenna was pressed on wax, limited to 666 copies. We are proud to once again offer it on glorious vinyl format, this time limited to 500 copies, this time on heavy audiophile 180 gram wax (150 red, 150 silver, 200 black) and housed in a 350 gram sturdy gatefold jacket with a high quality, glossy UV varnish.
This landmark release from Gehenna helped pave the way for Norway's 90's black metal scene and easily considered by many the band's finest work. It will of course contain all the original artwork and layout, as well as exclusive band photos and new liner notes from the band as well as new liner notes from original Head Not Found label founder Jon "Metalion" Kristiansen. Included with this LP will be a replica of the original 8 page lyric booklet from the original LP release as well as a 24" x 36" poster from the original cover artwork photo session.
As a bonus, this set includes the band's "Black Seared Heart" presented as a gatefold LP complete with original artwork, lyrics, new liner notes and 2 exclusive bonus tracks from the original sessions pressed on classic black wax. Both gatefolds come housed in an amazing, hand numbered heavy gauge box with the original First Spell cover artwork.

This amazing slab of wax comes housed in a hand numbered 350 gram sturdy gatefold jacket with UV varnish and featuring the original LP cover artwork, new 2012 liner notes from the band, 2 sided full color lyric insert replicating the original 1996 LP insert, and to keep in theme with the original layout, a beautiful 24" x 36" poster showcasing ancient mummified remains from the Palermo Catacombs.
